What this programme brings together
- Curriculum-relevant e-books, reference works and reading materials
- Searchable collections organised by subject, age and learning stage
- Accessible formats and offline access where licences and platforms permit
Prepare for useful learning
Identify readers’ needs, confirm content licences and appoint a collection lead. Introduce a manageable collection with guidance for learners, educators and families.
Availability, licensing, support and costs are agreed with participating institutions before activation.
How it fits within SENI
The E-Library organises reading and reference collections. Digital Education Resources provides teaching materials and learning tools; the Virtual STEM Lab supports guided simulated experiments.
Partnership opportunities
Publishers, libraries, librarians, content owners, accessibility specialists and sponsors can contribute licensed collections, curation, reader support and affordable access.
Prepare a partnership enquiry ↗Intended outcomes and review
Learners and educators can discover and use relevant reading and reference materials.
Proposed evidence: Collection relevance, accessibility, active readers, reading engagement and user feedback.
